Field Usage Form
Any teams or organizations who need to use a field outside of the days and times already scheduled by the
Recreation Commission for games must complete a Field Usage form and receive approval.  Anyone using fields
without prior approval will be asked to leave.  Click on the following link to access the
Field Usage Form.  Forms
should be submitted to either
Chris Tarver or Dennis Passe.

Code of Conduct
Effective immediately.
North Plainfield Recreation has passed an ordinance to implement and adhere to the following Codes of Conduct.  
Please click on the appropriate one to read the guidelines.  
All players, parents, and coaches will need to sign the necessary Code of Conduct.
(Violation of NJ State law P.L.2002, c.74. – Athletic Codes of Conduct could result in criminal penalties)

Open Positions with the Parks & Recreation Commission
Commissioners are volunteer positions and appointed by the Mayor.  If you are
interested in this position, you must first go to Borough Hall and fill out a Talent
Bank form indicating your interest.

If you are interested in being a Coach or Coordinator for any recreation program
or activity, please send an email to the Assistant Recreation Director at
dpasse@npmail.org.

NORTH PLAINFIELD ADULT SPORTS
North Plainfield Recreation currently offers Adult Co-Ed Softball (Spring), Men's
Softball (Summer) and Adult Archery (Fall).  If you are interested in starting an
adult league for an activity, please contact the

Volunteer Coach Qualifications
1.  All coaches must successfully pass a Criminal Background Check
2.  All coaches must take the Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. course
3.  All coaches must be 18 years and older
DUE TO COMPLIANCE, ONLY PEOPLE WITH
THESE QUALIFICATIONS CAN BE PERMITTED ON THE FIELD

RUTGERS S.A.F.E.T.Y. class
The North Plainfield Rec Dept will have the Rutgers Safety Course on
Wednesday, November 30th 7pm - 10pm at the Middlesex Rec Building, 1400
Mountain Ave, Middlesex, NJ 08846. I will need a number of participants no later
than Monday,November 14th as I need to coordinate with Middlesex on supplies
needed. This will be the only free class we will run.
