Summer Camp  - full day, rain or shine (see details below)
Summer Playgrounds - 9 am - 1 pm, weather permitting (view the Playgrounds page)

2017 All Day Summer Camp


Our programs will begin around the last week in June and end at the beginning of byAugust.

Our goal is to provide your child a recreational/educational 7-9 week summer program.
Start Date:  June 26th, 2017       Last Day of Camp:  August 25th, 2017

Early Bird Special:  Register and pay in full by May 14th, 2017
North Plainfield Parks & Recreation will be offering 2 types of programs during Summer 2017 for its
residents:  Summer Camp (see details below) and Summer Playgrounds.
Registration Dates:  All in-person registrations will take place at the Recreation Office located at 93 Greenbrook Road (Stony Brook field). In-person registrations will be on Saturdays from 9 am to Noon on the following dates:  2/25, 3/25, 4/8, 4/22, 5/13 AND 6/3
Registrations will also be taken during Spring Sports Sign-Ups on March 1st, 2nd & 3rd at Vermeule

Eligibility: N. Plainfield children ages 4 through 13; residents outside of North Plainfield will pay an $100 additional  fee.

Summer Camp for Ages 4-12

: The Recreation Commission sponsors an indoor/outdoor summer program. Campers can
sign-up for weekly field trips and will be placed in a camp-site based on their age with age-appropriate
activities. There are a variety of activities including arts and crafts, board games, indoor and outdoor
sports, playground equipment.  There will be weekly themes and weekly field trips at an extra cost.

:   NEW for 2017
Plan A is considered regular hours (9am drop off. 3pm pick up).  IF YOU PURCHASE PLAN A, YOU MAY NOT DROP OFF BEFORE 9AM OR PICK UP AFTER 3PM
Plan B is the same as plan A with before hours drop-off (7:30am) and after hours pick-up (6:30pm) Plan B is from 7:30am to 6:30pm
Plan C is early morning drop off (7:30am) with a 3pm pick up
Plan D is regular drop off (9am) with a late pick up (6:30pm)
You may purchase either Plans A,B,C or D or a combination of for 7, 8 or 9 weeks.

This program will be open rain or shine.

Season:  Campers can enroll for a maximum of 9 weeks (no camp on July 4th due to Independence Day)
You may purchase either Plan A, B, C or D, or a combination of any of them, for 7, 8 or 9 weeks.
