North Plainfield's Annual Halloween Parade displayed its Pride In Youth in costume.
Residents of North Plainfield enjoyed halloween festivities outside for the first time at Lower Krausche field. The
event kicked off with a parade down Grove Street and Greenbrook Road. Families converged at the NPHS track
for mummy races, costume judging and awards ceremony, a special cheer from the NPHS Canuck Cheerleaders,
fun in the haunted bouncy house, and cider and dougnuts for all. All participants received a ribbon for coming out
and showing their town spirit!
Special guests who made this event a success include Mayor Mike Giordano, National American Miss New Jersey
Victoria Virgo, our very own North Plainfield Extra-Special Witch, the NPHS Cheerleaders, and your North Plainfield
Parks and Recreation Commissioners.
Thank you to our sponsors, Stop and Shop and Shoprite, who helped provide refreshments.
