Fall Sports
Registration Dates for 2010 Fall Season:
Wed-Fri, August 11th - 13th,
Wed-Fri, August 25th - 27th, AND
Wed-Fri, September 8th - 10th at Vermeule from 7-9 pm
2010 Archery & Soccer Registration Flyer
Archery
Season: Mid-September - Mid-November 2010
Eligibility: Girls and Boys in 3rd-8th grades
Description: Learn one of the the proper technique and shooting procedures of Archery.
Kids earn incentives each week to perfect their skills in hitting the bullseye and the program closes with the
traditional Turkey Shoot to mark the end of the season. Practice takes place on Wednesday nights at West
End School at the following times:
6:30 - 7:30 Grades 3rd - 5th
7:30 - 8:30 Grades 6th - 8th
Cost: $30

Soccer
Season: Mid-September - Mid-November 2010
Eligibility: Girls and Boys in K - 8th grades
Description: Learn the most popular sport in the World. Recreation Soccer takes place on Saturday
mornings at East End, West End and Stony Brook schools.
Cost: $30

Basketball
Clinic Dates: TBD
Season: December 2010 - March 2011
Eligibility: Girls and Boys in 1st-8th grades
Description: Learn the positions of basketball, how to defend your basket, and drills to help players be agile.
REC basketball is fun and healthy.

Wrestling
Season: November 2010 - March 2011
Eligibility: Girls and Boys in K - 8th grades in North Plainfield
Description: Last year the team walked away with a successful season and top ranked trophies.
Practice, home matches and tournaments are in the N.P.H.S. Wrestling gymnasium.
Cost: $40

Baseball, Softball & T-ball
Clinic Date: TBD
Season: April 2011 - June 2011
Eligibility: Girls and Boys in Kindergarten through 8th grades
Description: These team sports are a bat-and-ball sport played between two teams of nine players each. The
goal is to score runs by hitting the ball with a bat and touching a series of four bases arranged at the corners
of a diamond.
Cost: K-2nd Grade T-ball (and Coach-Pitch) - $30 AND 3rd-8th Grade Baseball and Softball - $50
