If we are cleared to have a camp this summer, we have created a new structure for this year only. We
will treat each registration separately to accommodate our residents. We understand some families may
be struggling financially and we are here to help you. For example: There will be no minimum number of
weeks required to purchase this summer. If we are forced to start later, we can end later (9/4).

Our 4 plans will remain the same, pricing per plan will remain the same. If you purchased your plan
already and we need to adjust your plan, we certainly will refund any money due you.
We will continue to take registrations at this time. However, we will not take money until we get closer
to the summer. Registration forms can be found on our website. Please print and mail to or drop off at
our recreation office located at 93 Greenbrook Road. Early bird pricing will be used throughout the
entire summer. There will be no regular fees nor late fees. We still will have a $100 surcharge for non
residents.

We will not be taking summer camp trips this season.

We will make every effort to bring entertainment to Vermeule every other week.
Again, all adjustments to our structure is for this upcoming summer only. Please feel free to contact the

Our goal is to provide your child a recreational/educational 7-week summer program.

Early Bird Special:  Register and pay in full by May 14th, 2020

Registration Dates

All in-person registrations will take place at the Recreation Office located at 93 Greenbrook Road (Stony Brook field). In-person registrations will be on Saturdays from 9 am to Noon on the following dates: 2/22, 2/29, 3/28, 4/25, 5/9 AND 6/6

You may also register in person at the Vermeule Community Center on February 27 & 28 from 7 pm - 9 pm and Saturday, February 29th from 10 am - Noon.  Proof of residency will be required at all in person registrations.

Eligibility: N. Plainfield children ages 4 through 12; residents outside of North Plainfield will pay a $100 additional fee.

Description
The Recreation Committee sponsors an outdoor summer playgrounds program that will be at
Green Acres Park. This program is available to North Plainfield residents in grades Kindergarten-8th.  
This playground camp will have limited activities and will be 100% outdoors.
Green Acres Park - Half Day (9 am - 1 pm), Weather Permitting and limited activities

Hours:  The Summer Playgrounds Camp runs from 9 am - 1 pm and is weather permitting.
Season:  7 weeks 
Cost:   $150 for Early Bird special (paid in full by May 14th);
$165 for Regular Registration (paid in full by May 31st);
$180 for Late Registration (after June 1st).
NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER July 1st
